Skidpaw
DrivingOne button, one winding road. Hold to drift left, release to drift right, and keep Riko on the asphalt as the road narrows and the speed climbs.
About Skidpaw
Skidpaw is a top-down drift runner controlled by a single button. Riko the raccoon is always turning: hold and the car curves left, release and it curves right, so the skill is in timing taps so the curves cancel out along the road. The road is generated endlessly, drifting from side to side and narrowing the further you get, while the speed slowly climbs. Coins reward driving the inside of bends, cones punish sloppy lines, and one touch of grass ends the run.

How to play
- Hold anywhere on the screen (or Space / left arrow) to steer left. Release to steer right. The car never goes straight for long.
- Stay on the dark road. Touching the grass ends the run.
- Grab coins for 20 points each and avoid the orange cones that appear after 150 metres.
- Speed rises with distance and the road gets narrower, so short, rhythmic taps work better than long holds.
Tips
- Think in short taps. A quick hold-release pair keeps you roughly straight.
- Start the turn before the bend, not in it; the car needs time to rotate.
- Coins near the edge are rarely worth the detour once the road is narrow.
- Watch the road two segments ahead rather than the car.
Features
- True one-button control on touch and keyboard
- Endless generated road that narrows with distance
- Tyre marks, coins and cones
- Best distance saved locally
- Rewarded continue that drops you back on the road
FAQ
Why is the car always turning?
That is the one-button design: hold turns left, release turns right. Alternating the two is how you drive straight.
How fast does it get?
Speed rises from 260 to 520 units per second over roughly a kilometre, and the road narrows at the same time.
Can I use a keyboard?
Yes, Space, A or the left arrow all work as the hold button.
Does it work in landscape?
The game is portrait only; it will letterbox on wide screens.
