Idle games explained: offline earnings and good upgrade order

Burrow Mart, Cumulamb and Lunasprout keep producing while the tab is closed, for up to eight hours. A short visit twice a day collects almost everything.

How offline earnings work

When you leave, the game saves the time. When you return it multiplies the time away (capped at eight hours) by your production rate at the moment you left. Upgrades bought before closing the tab therefore pay off overnight.

Upgrade order

Burrow Mart: open new floors before pushing old floors past level 10; a new floor earns more than any upgrade to the floor above. Cumulamb: two or three sheep first, then the cat, then the raccoon, which multiplies everything. Lunasprout: fill all twelve plots with cheap sprouts, then replace them tier by tier, and harvest at full moon.

The moon in Lunasprout

The moon phase is tied to the real clock: eight phases of 90 seconds. Growth and harvest are multiplied by the phase, from half at new moon to double at full moon. Timing a harvest to the full moon is the main skill.
